Fall 2017 Season Preview

Summer is over halfway done. It was a little rough at first, but once we found some more great shows to watch (Abyss, Classroom) things picked up. Still, now is the time to start glancing on what’s to come next season. Below is a list of shows we’ll be taking a look at this October.

We’re excited about a third helping of Food Wars, Kekkai Sensen, 3-gatsu no Lion, and a Kino no Tabi re-imagining. You know the drill (unless you don’t): click on a title to learn more over at MAL.

As always, shows, and authors for reviews of the shows, are subject to change. If there’s an adaptation you’re excited about, whether it’s on our list or not, let us know in the comments.

  1. I’m fairly surprised Mahoutsukai no Yome isn’t on anyone’s list. It has been highly anticipated by a lot of the manga’s readers. It’s OVA prequel received an 8.2 on MAL, and the first 3 episodes were preview in Japan in which it already has an 8.6 on MAL. Its being done by Wit Studio which is known for SnK and Kabaneri. The show itself is heavily focused on world building and from what has been shown so far, the artwork is beautiful.

On a side note: I haven’t posted in a while as my graduate studies has sucked up my time, but I’m still reading the posts every day. Keep up the good work.
