Our hearts sunk when we heard on the radio this morning that a disaster had struck our beloved Japan. The full extent of the devastation caused by the 8.9-magnitude Earthquake off the coast of Tohoku region, and subsequent Tsunami will not be known for some time, but it is severe for sure.
Japan is well-known for its earthquake-proof structures and disaster preparedness, but still, many lives have been lost and many more have been upturned, with many still in harm’s way.
